Survey visit of US NDPC team
Skopje, June 14, 2019

A US National Disclosure Policy Committee (NDPC) team visited Skopje in the period from 10 to 14 June 2019 in order to do a survey of the national security system for protection of classified information by having meetings and discussions with relevant authorities in the country. The final goal of the survey visit was to officially initiate bilateral negotiations for harmonization of the text of a General Security of Information Agreement (GSOIA).
Agreement with Montenegro
Podgorica, May 24, 2019
The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Government of Montenegro on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information was signed on May 24, 2019 in Podgorica, during the first joint session of the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The Agreement was signed by the ministers of defence of the governments of the both Parties, Ms.Radmila Shekerinska Jankovska and Mr. Predgrag Bosković.
Bilateral negotiation with Montenegro
Podgorica, December 24, 2018
Upon invitation of the director of the National Security Authority of Montenegro, bilateral negotiations for harmonization of the text of the agreement on exchange and mutual protection between the governments of the two countries were held on December 24, 2018 in Podgorica. The Macedonian four-member delegation, headed by the director of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information, consisted of representatives of the Directorate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior. The Montenegrin delegation, consisting of NSA representatives, was headed by the NSA director.
Bilateral talks with the NSA of Croatia

Upon invitation of the director of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information, a director level meeting was held on 08 November 2018 in Skopje with representatives of the Office of the National Security Council of Montenegro.
While a number of issues of common interest for the national security authorities of the both countries were discussed, the emphasis at the meeting was put on the Croatian experiences related to its preparations for joining NATO. Furthermore, in line with the current discussions in the Republic of Macedonia on the security sector reforms, particular attention was also given to the discussions on the security service model in the Republic of Croatia.

Brussels, 18-19 October 2018
Representatives of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information were part of the delegation of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia led by the Deputy President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and Minister of Defence Radmila Shekerinska, together with the National Coordinator for NATO Stevo Pendarovski, which completed the Accession Talks with NATO in Brussels on 18-19 October 2018.

Meeting of the Directors of the National Security Authorities in the Region 6S Format
Bled, 12 September 2018
The sixth meeting of the Directors of the National Security Authorities (NSA) of the Ex-Yugoslav republics (6S format) was held on 12 September 2018 at Bled, Republic of Slovenia, as a back-to-back event with the Eighth SEENSA Conference. The meeting was supported by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) as a result of its clear committment to support all forms of regional cooperation that are not contradictory to the SEENSA format of cooperation.
According to the established practice, the goal of the meeting was to exchange experiences about the processes and activities related to the classified information currently ongoing in the countries from the region that may grow into events with bilateral and regional character. In that context, the participants in the discussions identified initiatives and projects that will contribute to strengthening the regional cooperation and will give a new impetus to the implementation of the security policy on exchange and mutual protection of classified information in the region.
Eighth Conference of the National Security Authorities of the South East European Countries (SEENSA)

The Eighth Conference of the South East European National Security Authorities (SEENSA) was held on 11 September 2018 at Bled, Republic of Slovenia. The conference was held within the 13th Bled Strategic Forum with this year’s slogan “Bridging the Divide”.
The conference was co-chaired by the Director of the NSA Slovenia, Mr. Dobran Božić, and the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Mr. Goran Svilanovic. The conference was attended by delegations of the National Security Authorities of the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Croatia, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Montenegro, Republic of Slovenia and Republic of Serbia, as well as by a representative of the EU Council General Secretariat.
Agreement with the Great Duchy of Luxembourg

The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of the Great Duchy of Luxembourg on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information was signed on September 6, 2018 in Skopje.
The Agreement was signed by the ministers of foreign affairs of the governments of the both Parties, Mr. Nikola Dimitrov and Mr. Jean Asselborn.
Agreement with Austria
Vienna, June 26, 2018
The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Austrian Federal Government on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information was signed on June 26, 2018 in Vienna, Austria.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, the Agreement was signed by the President of the Government, Mr. Zoran Zaev.
